Canyoneering Utah was born out of a deep love for Southern Utah's canyon country. What started as weekend adventures with friends turned into a calling — to share these stunning landscapes with anyone willing to step in.
We keep groups small on purpose. Every guest deserves real attention, real guidance, and a real adventure. Whether it's your first rappel or your hundredth, we make sure the experience is one you'll talk about for years.

Ryan
Owner / Head Guide
Ryan was born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley. Thanks to his dad he grew up climbing and skiing in the Wasatch Mountains near his home. Eventually he got hooked on canyoneering and started spending lots of his time exploring Southern Utah's beautiful slot canyons. This led him to take up a career in canyon guiding which led him to guide in some amazing places such as Ouray, Colorado and internationally in New Zealand. Now he is back home in Utah and stoked to get you out in the canyons!
